should I eat this black stuff?

made 12 oz butter with 12.5 grams of hash. Simmered for 20 minutes then refrigerated and I have this black stuff on the bottom. What is it and is it edible?

did you strain it?

My partner and I are pretty convinced its hash but why wouldnt the hash dissolve into the butter fat? The recipe I followed said it should dissolve. I put the butter/hash in the fridge and it separated. I forgot to add that this 12.5 grams I used came from my contaminate bag so is this just contaminate?

Try it. If you die, you'll know it's no good. Lol. Regardless, if you'd use anything you put in the recipe, the worst is that it'll taste nasty and that it's burnt or something. You may be correct that it seperated and that the black shit is actually the hash, in which case that'd be a bummer. Not that I know anything about hash butter, I'd say better not to dispose of it

used a half cup butter with black hash on the bottom(contaminate?) for a thc peanut butter cookies. It only had a mild hint of cannabis on the aftertaste. Theyre great. Its starting to hit me just now. success!!!
