Depends on what you are going for. I flipped all this years new strains at about 6" to 8" looking about like that only a tiny bit shorter. During their first 2 weeks after flip when they stretched I took 2 clones off the bottom and am watching to see how they grow without interference.
I'll cut them, dry them and test them while I'm in longer veg with the clones. So the keepers I'll grow larger take a bunch more clones and throw them into flower again somewhere in the 6 to 8 for me since it's just easier to flower smaller plants but with the clones I'll either trim them up so they grow 1 large cola or 2 to 4 depending on how the plant behaved during it's first flower cycle. This works for me because the larger plants weigh to much for me to lift.
For example my Pre 98 Bubba Kush doesn't do as well growing multiple colas. So I grow them single and clone many. With my Aurora Indica #2 keeper pheno I cut for multiple 4 to 6 colas and she packs it on so I'm not going to flower out a clone of AI every flower anymore. But I will keep that genetic. So yes if that were my plant she'd be flipped by now.
