should i grow with my 400 hps or 150?

this is what im debating because i dont have any air cooled hoods but i got 2 large fans in the grow area temps in the room stay around 77 and im in cali

it all depends on how big your area is, but a 400 is such a better bet all around, i would only suggest a 150 if say you were growing in a small cabinet or something like that where space is an issue, but if your growing in say a closet or something that has a decent ammount of height to it the 400 will be the best bet

ya its in a closet, i wanna use the 400 but its just gets so damn hot but idk ill see how it works out

The 400 is your best option, as long as u have air circulation the temps shouldnt be too bad. I use a 400w in an area 2'x4'x7'high, but I use a carbon filter with a vortex fan for the smell but it also removes the hot air and i vent that out the window.
