Should I harvest or not

Please let me know if you guys think this look ready to harvest, I can see a slight brown tinge to the trichomes?

No they're not ready. Don't even bother looking at trichomes while the plants are covered in white pistils like those are.

It seems many newer growers read about amber pistils and go out of their way to find them. When they see a few they're ready to harvest an immature plant. Trichomes are just one measure of a plant being done but are not an absolute. Trichomes can amber for reasons other than the plant being done. Just visually looking at that plant it's obvious it still has weeks to go.

That's why I hate this chart floating around that many seem to think is the definitive guide to harvesting. It's absolutely horrible and a cause of many early harvests. It says that once 50-70% of pistils have darkened the plant is at its most potent. I completely disagree with that. 30-50% white pistils means the plant isn't ready not that it's at its most potent.
