Will if affect my yield if I do a heavy defoliation in week 2 day 9 stretch or should I hold out till day 21?

You don't have to strip it........I remove a few leaves daily throughout.

Just wait til day 21 and defoliate. You dont need to go crazy either just take the leaves blocking buds.

I never do a heavy defoliation.. Just selective/productive thinning..
They need leaves to store reserve nutes for later on..

Exactly. I don't defoliate more than 10% until the plant nears end stage. After that, if a leaf is still more than 50% green, it stays.

I’d keep the top of the plants as is, but I’d lollipop the bottom 1/4 - 1/3 of them.

It’s just looking really cramped from all the leafs so I do wanna clean it up abit but I got a few more inch’s to get to the max height so I was wondering if I leave them like this would it affect yield I had a little clean up day before flower ain’t touched since

I get what your saying. If you have adequate air flow I would leave the top alone. The lower bud sites have leaves protruding from the branch that feeds that budsite. It will find its way to light.
