Should I move my outdoor garden.

I went for a walk in the forest today to check out some grow spots i was mapping out on googel earth for what seamed to be a perfect spot. I was looking for full sun in a relatively secluded spot. When i got nearby i was disappointed to find a makeshift raised shelter, some holes already dug, and a couple of shovels. The bush that surrounded the area appeared to be coca plants but i thought no way, not in NY. I'm thinking...was this a police raid once b4 or is this someones current/old grow op, and would it be safe to grow their now. I'm only growing seven plants two i planted today, which I'm willing to give up and five feminized white widows which I'm just starting off from seeds now.

Theirs not many options for me since I don't drive and the only other available space in my area would be shaded forest or near a creek and I'm assuming there be a lot of foot traffic.

Also, I'm concerned about the soil in the spot I'm skeptical about. It just rained today and the waterline was only about a foot deep plus the ground is all clay. I know its good for nutrients and retaining water buy what about root rot. I'd probably have to add something in to air-ate the growing medium since I'm planting directly in the ground.

IDK just let me know what you think. Thanks.

personally, i would be nowhere near a site where i knew that others already knew about. if you plant there, your plants are prolly gonna get jacked or taken by cops who will stay there and wait for you to show up. find a different area or grow at home is my thinking....

Your right. I don't think I'm going to grow indoors though. I'm thinking I should look around a little better maybe scatter them around. I'm wondering, if cops do find it I wouldn't think they would stake out the spot 24/7? How would they work that? Also, if someone did think about jacking them wouldn't they wait until it matures?

that's what i would do. spend your time finding a better spot if you dont want to or cant grow inside. it's possible they would stake the site out, yes. they have also been known to leave behind cameras at large grow sites to catch the grower in the act. i could steal your outdoor plants at any maturity level, take them home, and have them mature and flower in MY grow room. lol... people are careless and evil.
