Should I reTop?

Recently topped a plant, and seemed to get the new shoots coming, but also new shoots coming out of the stem cut. Should I reTop or let it as is?

Thx, I’m guessing only two shoots will be the leading branches, unless it’s possible to get four out of one cut?

To get four, you have to use a different technique, the FIM. It stands for Fuck I Missed. Allegedly, someone was trying to top, but cut at the wrong spot.

You can search this site or the web to find pictures and information on the FIM LST procedure.

To get four with topping alone, you have to grow out the two new branches after the first top, then top them.

If your'e not limited on space I would let it grow out and then top each of the new tops again, make clones of the cut tops. I currently have two plants, one I topped once and now it has two main branches, the other I topped twice and now there are 6 main branches.

Plant on the left was topped twice, plant on the right was topped once.

Don't cut any more, start LST and tie them down and keep at it. You'll have tons of branches. Topping shocks and slow your plants growth
