Ok I am a medical patient in Maine I have 5 clones in around 7 gallon pots outside, got them about 3 weeks ago, and theyve grown about 2 feet since i got them now theyre root bound, where I live theres good chances of a killing frost 25 degrees f by mid october or in bigger pots like 15 gallon or so? Not a bunch of money for soil eiter.

I'm guessing our idea of clones is different. A clone to me is a freshly rooted cutting. So if you put a clone in a 7 gallon pot it shouldn't be root bound in that time frame. It sounds like you have plants that someone else started outside I hope. Or you might not achieve full flower development. Unfortunately I think you're kind fucked. Being in Maine the on set of flowering should have begun by now. Transplanting now will shock the plant and disrupt growth.

Yeah if theyre flowering I wouldnt transplant but if they arent flowering you gotta either go inside or say goodbye to them because they wont be ready for mid october unless they've got a 7 week flowering period or less and even then it might not work out because your night temps will probably drop a lot before its constantly cold.

Ok, ya thats what I meant, theyre actually already flowering say probably a week ago, theyre looking alright im hopefull, i took some clones, when I said clones I meant they werent started from seed tbats a clone to me. A cuttig not necessarily a fresh cutting, they were planted in april ai got them in july they were only rain watered in solo cups from april until july they look very nice atm though, what if I cut the bottom of the pot planted wholenpot in ground

I can walk you through how to root prune your plants without any damage at all and you can stay in the pots they are in now. Its an easy process.
I'm wondering if the plants are really pot bound and will require pictures to decide bc 7gal is ample room for an average grow. Let me know.
