This is my second grow.Three plants , from left. dutch cheese.white widow.bigbud. they are in 6th week of flowering its getting a bit crowded in there being as the g/r is only 2ft by 3ft my question is would the plants benefit from a trim. on my last grow i trimmed quite heavy and i think it stunted them people say trimming only the leaves that are shadeing bud sites is benificial some say dont trim at all. any suggestions apreciated.

If it really becomes an issue, I've found that instead of trimming healthy leaves, I just just kind of bend them or gently tuck them away to allow the light penetration I want. Also just tying a branch or two out of the way helps but I'm not a fan or trimming healthy leaves. A plant can eat up a lot of the leaves the last couple weeks, especially if flushing or if you've had any PH or nute problems, it's like the flowers back-up food storage for when shit goes bad...kind of...heh. =)

-On a side note if a leaf looks jacked up I just gently give it a tug and if it comes off cool, if not I let it hang.
