Should I trim these?

I have a Black Domina with a lot of new growth, but some of the new growth is right around the stalk, seemingly wrapping around it. Will the new sprouts along the stalk suffocate the plant or stunt growth in any way? I don't want to trim before I am sure!IMAG0365.jpgIMAG0364.jpg

don't trim, your plants don't need it and that will only delay its growth because it will focus on healing instead.

also, the new growth will continue to grow outward from the plant because it will seek the light....do you have bulbs placed on the sides of your plant? if you don't that would be a good idea to help the lower nodes get better light.

I agree with all the posts above, let it grow & if you decide to trim, maybe look into lolli popping. Its a technique where you remove lower growth @ the beginning of bloom to promote bigger top buds & less popcorn buds. I personally trim off all the slowest growth the 1st two weeks of bloom. Works out great for me, but I normally have to use bamboo stakes to support the girls. Which is a good thing I guess:eyesmoke:
