Should I use tap or RO water

I sure many people have asked themselves this question...but should I use RO water or tap water. I have tried to search this through the forums and found nothing. My ppm of my tap water now is 500-600 and I have an ro machine outside my apartment that has 25 ppm. I don't want to lug water around but I want my babies pretty. I saw the thread of a pound every 3 weeks which is very good in my opinion( thanks stink) and he used tap water at 200ppm. Please tell me your experiences and your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

RO water for sure cuz all the crap is filtered out compared to tap.

+2. RO. water is key. i use bottled water.

RO water is the only way to go, my tap water is hard also 500 ppm's. And it might be suspicious getting water there everyday so i would get a good amount in 5 gallon jugs the less people that see you get water the better.

I think just a good filter will do fine.

what do you mean by a good filter fman??? I used ro water before but I didn't use a micro and they had deficiency. I want my next batch to look beautiful.
