Shroom question

I've not looked extensively into mushroom growing (as I don't really care much about it), but I want to throw up a quick question because I'm being lazy lol... I was looking into mushroom bags (yeh I know they are pricey), and injecting spores from a mushroom syringe into them and all that good shit.

Here are my questions, is incubation necessary (what does it do if it is?), and are lights needed (what kind if so?)

google <--- check that out first.

But incubating is where you grow the mycellium. Without it you have nothing but substrate with spores in it.

But read the FAQ on shroomery.org

and check google.

FAQ is outdated, some of it's crap, some of it's good.
Incubate at 70-78F optimally in AMBIENT LIGHTING(I've talked to numerous mushroom farms and they said it doesn't hurt).
Lazy is not a word that should be used in mycology or ever acted out.
Listen to those who are worth listening too. "Tahoe, RogerRabbit, agar."
DO NOT TRUST THE TRUSTED CULTIVATOR TAG. IT'S BS.

Everything I'm talking about above is about www.shroomery.org/forums

Yeah if your going to grow mushrooms you really need to have your Sh*t together. My first grow didn't go well at all because I tried to cut corners.

Good luck!

Guys.. I asked two questions. I know the forums.. and their url's. I didn't know why incubation was needed, now I do. Thank you.

And if I wanted snide leaning towards smartass comments, I'd have asked. I'm sure I could get the synthesis down if I so chose, growing can't be that difficult.
