Hello Gang, and thanks in advance for the help !!!
I'm growing in DWC using Dutch Master Nutrients A&B Original Grow, with Add+27, Zone, & Silica, this is complemented with DM Saturator & Liquid light 2x weekly.
I am keeping the buckets 150 less less than the recommendations of 1000 ppm's @ 850 ppm's. I have learned that it is better to be on the low side. The PH is kept between 5.7 -- 5.9 at all times.
My girls are Barney's Farm Critical Kush & 4-5 weeks old.
My water temp is running around 24C OR 75.2F a little high, hence the use of DM Zone.
The seeds were started together then placed, after the second set of leaves in a very small dwc setup 1/8 150 ppm's nutes for startups and clones, the Girls each are now in their own 5 gallon dwc setup, I noticed the problem before transferring them to their own dwc buckets it has now spread to 2 other plants.
I have searched many sites for things such as nutrient deficient plants & signs of problems, diseases, and plants with bug problems. After reading the different post and or stickys 2-3 times and more, I'm still unsure of what it is.
1. I am leaning towards a bug problem and will start using General Hydroponics's AzaMax today, I can see one very small area on a leaf that looks like something has been munching on it ?
2. Since PH affects how the nutrients are taken up into the plants I will start letting the PH swing from 5.3 to 6.3 before readjusting it.
( I previously kept pH 5.7 to 5.9 ? )
3. For the early vegetative growth I have been using compact fluorescents two or three inches above the plants, so I do not suspect heat burn.
4. The problem is affecting ( or starting with ) only the lower leaves so far.
5. I have been running one air stone per 5 gallon bucket the medium is Hydrotron ?
PLEASE CHECK IN AND GIVE ME YOUR VALUED OPINIONS.
Thanks Again
