That works. About 1/2 reduction in noise. Foam insulation where she mounts to the bottom of cooler.



Just think there should be bud porn with any post.

i like to use bungee ropes to hang my fans gives alot of reduction in noise

I had a problem with sound until I got a fan speed adjuster. It's very quite now, my house fan runs louder.

Edit: although the one in the pic looks similar to one I just got. And the adjuster doesn't work on it. So thanks for the idea.

ive got to come up with some thing like that myself i run 3 8inch can fans and there pretty loud ...I was thinking about buying a couple of the new mufflers they got out but i think im going to play around with some stuff like this see if i cant save a few ..cool post thanks for sharing

Does not get hot at all. Have an adjustable speed and that helps a ton. Most of my noise now comes from air movement it seems. Overall pleased with the results and the cost.
