Hello Forum Fanatics
(even Alaskans).
I want to prefix this thread with the admission that I am an absolute beginner and this post is really about satisfying my curiosity, more than making serious plans for an upcoming grow.
I want to know the size ratio for the three growing areas of a perpetual grow system.
Area 1 - Germination/Propagation, rooting cuttings (I think Mothers would also reside here - but I am willing to be corrected).
T5HO illuminated, I think...? I don't know what else is needed as this part is unknown to me.
Area 2 - Vegetation, MH lights on 18/6 schedule. Enough ventilation to prevent humidity, high temps and scrub the air.
Area 3 - Flowering. HPS lights on 12/12 schedule. Enough ventilation to prevent humidity, high temps and scrub the air.
If Area 3, the budding area, was a 70 sq ft (8' x 8' 9'') - which I guess would need to be the biggest area, as it accommodates the plants during the time of their greatest size.
What size would Area 2, the Veg area, need to be?
