size to time correlation: vegatative growth

in soil pots, after about a month of veg (under 600w hps). How large is a standard cannabis plant? I have been in veg for around 33 days since transplanting my cuttings and my plants are around 10-12 inches tall (with topping a fimming). It feels as if the growth is being stunted in some way.

Depends on the strain. Indica's veg pretty slow. Does seem a little small though. Most of the strains I'm growing are a little bigger at that age.
But,I don't top. That can slow down growth considerably. Plus, I need tall skinny plants.(stadium)

i wouldent be worryed. imo its to be expected to have a short plant if you fim or have many tops. you gotta almost add up each top as growth. if you have 6 tops each 12 inches its not the same as a plant with 1 top being 12 inches. i was wondering wtf the problem was with my white widow cuz they vegged for nearly 2 months an were only like 18 inches or less, then i relized what was going on.
