Skimpy outdoor plants

Why are my outdoor plants so skimpy in one area and not the other?

Post pictures.

the first pic is a skimpy plant in an area where I have grown nice plants. The others are about 60' away and doing beautiful.

Sorry. I am new to this and I am double posting. I will figure it out.

Different lighting? Different genetics (the skinny plant has a different structure). The cladding near the fat plants is probably helping with reflecting heat

Bag seed? as above genetics', light, root structure
