Is this normal? I don't remember my first grow of feminized grand daddy purple having such long stems at the start. These are feminized wedding cake can any tell me what's happening here.

Seedling stretch, usually from the light being to high or too much red in the spectrum..
Lower your light a few inches see if that helps.. When you transplant bury most of the stem..

I have my tent set up and the light is 30 inches above at low power..should I turn it up or move it closer than that or both ?

Just turn your light up it better to have the plants growing into the light throughout the grow.

If you've got an old florescent light laying around, they are the ticket for seedlings.
