They look a tad over watered. Also it going to take a while for thek to take off in such a large container. They are making roots right now.

i put vermicast in my pot. Did it enough nutrient?
Buy a basic nutrient with macro and micro elements in it NPK being what it says on bottle. I'm sure you can google where to buy. Good luck happy growing

one of the biggest no no's I would tell any new grower as I learned myself..

Do not start a seedling in a 3 or 5 gallon pot.. you can but add an extra 3 weeks or so of veg before you flip to flower. she will start of stupid slow.

I start all my seedlings in a 10-12 oz cup and use seedling soil. after 10 days I go to a gallon container with something like ocean forest.. leave her for about 30 days.. then transplant to 5 gallon and 4 days later switch to 12/12.

If you want a dirt cheap all purpose veg nutrient thats easy to use. I would suggest one of two things.

either get a bottle of fox farm grow big or an 8 oz bottle of dyna-gro foliage pro. the dyna gro shipped to you will be under 20 dollars.

If you wanna go simple and organic for not much money (what im doing next grow).

for 40-45$ shipped , you can get general organics GO Box. I bought the GO Box the other day for 41$ shipped and will be using it next grow.

Also. If you dont have a smart pot .. make a homemade air pruning pot.. Take your plastic growing container and drill a ton of holes in it on the bottom and 1/2 way up the sides.. I do this with every single container I use if I dont have a smart pot.

They have 5 gallon smart pots you can get on amazon right now and for some reason the tan colored ones are cheaper. You can get a 5 gallon tan colored smart pot for $6.25 with free shipping.. while for some reason the black 5 gallon smart pot is $8.12 and you do not get free shipping.

$6.25 for 1 single tan smart pot would be a great investment.

get yourself some dyna-gro foliage pro and growth will speed up alot.

When you water these little plants, just water at the base of the plant, not too much/about 1/2 cup ea time.
agree'd.. one of the smartest things a soil grower can do IMO is to water more often and have a good wet/dry ratio.. soil dries out decently fast..roots breathe and grow.

I actually ran out of ocean forest soil last grow so I just did an entire grow in 4 gallons of seedling soil. miracle gro seed starter mix to be exact.. I don't like the soil as much as ocean forest but it is super light and airy and had almost 0 NPK so I was able to control nutrients almost right away.. kinda like coco

Dude really needs to separate plants.. I have a huge pet peeve when people start 5 seedlings in one single 5 gallon container.. I bet thats a pure pain in the ass to transplant seedlings.. wouldn't surprise me if some people even try to grow 4-5 plants in the same container lol

I used to try small bottle but when i had taken her out, her root is longer than trunk
only way to plant her in small bottle. might cut her trunk before

A good experiment when growing from seed or just rooted cutting,is to place them in a clear dixie cup,so you can watch the water soak through and also watch the roots fill the cup. This will give you an idea how many days it takes to fill the soil with roots.

The only thing that has slowed me down from seed is over feeding OR if they simply germinated slowly.

Did they germinate quickly? ...and then then take 3 weeks to get to where they're at in that picture?

are u feeding them cold water? and hows the weather outside? when the soil is cold itso hard for the roots to absorb nutrients. you should've also planted them in their own pots cus sooner or later they would fight for the soil and 3 outta 4 will die. maybe that's why they are slow growing but idk I'm not saying that's the reason. and like the people above me said you shouldn't over water cus that too would slow down its growth

Good point. @covarrubias farmer! ...it's a cold time of year and that could definitely be slowing things down!
