Slow growth

Hi guys!

I’m in the third week of flowering with my DP white widow, actually in the fourth day of third week and since the beginning of the growth I had some PH issues etc. which they seem to recover fine from. Two days ago I have defoliated them, I had done it once in Veg as well so this was my second and final defoliation. I’m just wondering if they are not stunted because you know it’s a third week but the flowers seem to be really small or am I just overthinking?

if you defoliated during growth, that would be the reason for slow growth, its usualy done just b4 flowering. i believe, never done it myself. but that coupled with a PH problem , would slow growth
there is a whole study that I have found that you can actually defoliate in third week of flowering and it benefits the plant once it’s bounced back.

The guys at fast buds actually recommend for their autos to do a defo in early flower... idk if it's the same thing for phenos.

thats says defoliation during flowering, not during growth. growth is when you want leaves for photosynthysis for more robust growth. then defoliate if you wish, i dont touch mine, as i flower clones , 9 clones on 3 to 5 gallon pots in a 1m x 1m x 2m tent, so i want as much green as i can get for energy for flowering
