Slugs

Hey guys I am running some mama mia and some chem 91 outdoor and am experiencing an insane amount of slugs, I filled an entire water bottle with them, so my question is how detrimental are they to the plants and what should be my next move on getting rid of them?any input would be appreciated, pics are of the plants with slugs

I use to get them all the time , bury a beer can up to the rim, leave a sip in there they will crawl in and be stuck, empty.repeat

They crawl up out of the ground at night and eat the foliage. Bet your bottom leaves are full of holes right now. I'd leave more than a sip in the can, that way they drown.
An for the love of the gods use shitty beer! Don't waste the good stuff!
