Slykers tent

Started my first tent grow a few days ago. Nothing crazy just a small tent in the basement. 2x2x5.
1st plant is Pink Afghan Kush
2nd plant is Green Crack
Both from bags.

Using ProMix peat, perlite, and vermiculite mix.

200w CFL for veg. Probably going to veg for just 2-3 weeks. Top once during that time. Hope for some shortish bushy plants.

Using Dutch Nutrients Grow A+B and Bloom A+B for this grow.
Also have a bag of Exhale CO2 going in the tent.

Today is day 3 of them being in the tent and pots.

I'm on my first run in tents & I gotta say they're working out good I've got 3x3s & 200w. of blurple led in one & 340w. of cob in the other the 200w.blurple seems to be my sweet spot as far as cost efficiency goes when these grows are done I'm gonna crunch the numbers to see how well things went you're little tent looks like you're gonna have some fun

That sounds cool!
I have been on Amazon and will probably finish out this grow with CFL and then switch to LED.
With 5 feet of height would I be ok using a 1000w LED or should I go lower?

for height control you can Scrog but when you're considering buying a led like from amazon what they call 1000w. isn't often times what they actually draw at the wall the vipar leds they sell on amazon will get you by but a lot of them aren't worth buying at any price just do some research before you pull the trigger for your room I would consider the vipar spectra par 450 I think it's called my blurple led pulls 200 w. at the wall

Day 6 and looking pretty good.
Got the humidity up in the tent a bit and they responded positively to it.
They’ve had two feedings of Grow A + B and seem to like it.
The exhale CO2 bag has been in there for 3 days now, they’re very cool!

Start of the 7th day today and I like what I see.
Gave the ladies a small feeding and watering today. Then i added another 1/2-1 inch of soil. Looking like some nice growth is happening.

14 days since seeds popped.
Had a tiny over feeding problem but caught it early. Straight water for a while.
The Pink Afghan Kush is super stalky.
Green Crack is looking nice.

Took pics yesterday.
20 days since seeds sprouted.
Pretty happy so far with how they’re looking. I may top them at some point this weekend.
Giving them nutes every 4 days.

Topped the green crack today. I’m thinking I might leave the pink Afghan Kush alone and see what the difference is and what works better for my tent set up.
The green crack is very hardy. Haven’t had many problems at all with it.
The PAK on the other hand is very sensitive. I really need to baby it.

Well I had to scrap em the other day and start fresh. I packed the soil way too tight and was not getting water to the bottom half of the pots. Rookie mistake.
Starting over and going to just do one green crack plant with a SCROG.
Here’s pics 3 days after seeds popped.
I will choose the best looking one in a week or so and transplant it into a big pot.

New update. Been two weeks since seeds popped. Chose the best looking one a few days ago and transplanted.
I gave it its first feeding of DN grow A&B yesterday, it responded very nicely.
I’ll top it in another few days probably.

Quick update!
I topped it 5 days ago and it’s looking very nice.
I trimmed just a few of the bigger lower fan leaves also.
Not sure if I will top again or just LST for a bit now before flowering. We’ll see how she goes!

One week away from flower I think.
New tops are looking great and growing fast. Can’t wait to see how she does after a week of flower.

Decided now was a good time to start the LST. I tied the two new tops down to open it up and get some growth.
I’ll post a pic tomorrow to show how it responds 24 hours later.

It’s been almost exactly 24 hours since I tied down the two main tops. This morning I checked and they’d popped up so much I tightened them down a bit more. Looking great now. Looks like there are 4 main bud top sites now.
I will start flowering in one week.

It’s really bushed up since starting the LST only 2 days ago.
I can’t wait to see it after a couple weeks of flower!
