First time posting though I have referred to the insight of knowledgeable people who post here many times. I've been growing for almost a year and every day is still an adventure in learning about the needs Of this amazing plant.
Currently have a Blue Dream, a Critical Mass, and a 'Mystery Indica' (was given a mother of an unknown indica strain to start out with, this is the last in a long line of clones of that mother I have grown out.)
I have the ladies under two 1000w hortilux hps on the typical 12/12 flowering light schedule.
They are all on day 42 of flower. They are all 3 clones in pots of varying sizes filled with Black Gold Waterhold cocoblend. Blue Dream is in a 10gal pot, Mystery Indica in a 5gal bucket, and the Critical Mass is in a 17gal Rubbermaid tote. Fed light regular dosing of Happy Frog all purpose 5-5-5 for veg and they have received light dosing of Dr. Blossom (I think) Flower Girl 4-7-12 in flower.
This is the same recipe I have been using from the start. I had a series of problems w real estate that led to a 2 month halt in production and now that I am back at it w the Same location nutes ventillation lighting and clones from the same mother's as prior, I am now seeing some unpredictable results.
The blue dream seems to have stretched far less than previous clones, along w having smaller buds, despite being the tallest I have ever allowed one to get before budding.
The mystery indica has bigger buds and more erect-looking pistils than any of the 20 or so previous clones I have buffed out. This is despite having overcome a detrimental spider mite infestation during veg.
This is my first critical mass I have budded so I have no experience on which to base an opinion. But my understanding of the strain is that it is supposed to have large yields and it seems to be lagging behind both the bd and the indica in terms of both size and trichome count.
Only difference between my setup now and how it was before the two month break is the temperature in my grow room. The average temperature rose something like 10 degrees as it transitioned from winter and seemingly skipped spring right into summer.
Any ideas on why my bd buds are smaller than normal while my mystery indica buds are bigger than normal and a supposed heavy yielder in the same environment n feeding produces the smallest buds of the 3 and w the fewest trichomes? (At this point anyway)
Thanks for reading and any constructive advice will be respected and appreciated!
