Small grow lighting choice.

I was thinking about getting 150 Mini HPS OR a 2ft 6 bulb tube fixture with 2ft 1 tube lighting on the side. I'm doing 4 plants with LST.

Also, how much additional heat will the 150 give off? Closet grow, 3 gal containers, in soil.


Sorry, space is 3x4x9. I was looking into LED, but there is no clear choice on what company to buy from. I spent the last 3 months in the LED thread and it was mostly people calling out companies that ripped people off.

Plus, the mini is $80, a good LED for my space is going to run $250-$300.

I'm not sure about temp off 150 would depend on your space and venting, but if your worried about heat look into LED lighting many choices now and prices are much better now. almost no heat output and much less energy used
