Hi guys,
Is it just me or everybody else's have the same problem?
I have 6 plants each sitting in a 5 gallon fabric pot.
5 out of 6 have Xiaomi Flower care sensor to measure soil moisture, fertility, light and temperature. I have heard and Xiaomi plant database confirms that for cannabis soil fertility should be in a range of 150-2000 μs/cm or 0.15-2(ms/cm) shown in regular EC meters
If I water without nutes soil fertility drops significantly and it drops close to or below 150-200 μs/cm almost straight away. So to get it up every day I usually use soluble nutes to make my water about 1500 μs/cm before watering. After watering I can have may be 50-75% soil moisture and about 850-1000 μs/cm for soil fertility. However after water runs out and dries overnight the next day I usually have soil moisture about 30% and its fertility 230-350 μs/cm only. It is still above the minimum recommended but to be honest I would love to keep it above 500 μs/cm all the time and it means every time I water I have to bring my water to about 1500 μs/cm.
Is it how it works for you with smart pots and watering/feeding them?
My plants look very healthy and I don't mind adding nutes to water every time I give it to my plants but it is just very strange that nutes do not stay in my soil for a long time. Or may be consumed by my plants with such a speed.
I am using Canna Terra Professional Soil mix. It is a great soil at least by its look.
The plants I have are about 2-5 weeks old in vegging
