smell is escaping what can i do

i have a closet that is very well sealed and am runnig portable air conditioner which is venting into garage and leaving oders shall we say i was wondering if a (ozone genarator) in the garage would take car of it or is it harmful to human?or if a activated charcoal filter on the a/c exhaust would work?

try the charcoal filer first

Yea the ozone gen would work, but there more expensive than a carbon can filter. The can filter will do the job just as well.
