smell to expect from 1 plant

I wanted to start a small cfl grow myself in my room. I live in a house with a few friends. They dont have any problem with what I´m doing in my room and I got everything ready.

But now they are afraid of the smell and dont want me to grow. They dont want the whole house smelling like MJ.
I wanted to start small with 1 plant (Nothern Light) in a growbox.

How bad will it smell during flowering, would it need a DIY carbon filter?

i dont think that you would need a filter for one plant. i would just use some air freashener once in a while. just incase

one plant is going to be enough to smell up a floor of a house, it may not be as bad during veg. but as soon as it starts flowering it stinks like hell[in a good way]. it may seem like it doesnt stink after a while, and thats because you get used to the smell because your living in it, but "outsiders" are going to be able to smell it in a heart beat. best hope there cool

I´ll probably just have to try it and promise my friends to throw it out as soon as the smell starts annoying them.
Another option is our garden shed which currently has a leaking roof. That will be fixed next month hopefully.
I´ll start a journal when everything worked out
