Smokey skies impact?

So in Oregon we’re basically inside a cloud. Mornings have been coming later and evenings earlier, also significantly much less light during the day. (Due to the wildfires obviously.)

3 questions:

1: Will this speed up my outdoor flowering?

2. If it does and then the smoke (hopefully) goes away, is there a risk of hermaphroditism?

3. Smoke impacts on taste, whether positive or negative.

Just to give you an idea of 9 am where I live:

Subbed. All great questions. Interested to see what others who have dealt with it have to say.

I am dealing with the same exact thing. At 8:30am this morning it looked like night.

I have read a cloudy day still gives off more usable light than a top notch indoor lights.

Don't know how true it is just something I have come across a couple of times in my reading.

Mosquito netting or muslin cloth. Several of used for the gypsy moth invasion here in mid 90's. Should stop most ash. Trying to help. Peace.
Thanks bro but I got them in a hoophouse — I can shake the ash off. I don’t mind the advice but main thing is the light I wonder about.

Who gives a damn about some weed plants when people are losing everything?

My friend just lost his house and everything he owns.

Much bigger issues than a few plants.

I know you didn't mean to minimize anything regarding the situation many are going through. Just putting things into perspective. :peace:
No minimization. Ignorance on my end. Just answering a problem. Peace. Out.

I get it, we are all literally at the edge of our seats here where I live. I don’t want to be specific about the town but we had two small fires they put out a mile or two outside city limits. What people don’t realize is these powerline fires are happening everywhere — sometimes they catch them, sometimes they don’t.

If it seemed like I was minimizing other people’s loss because I am worried about hermies, that was totally not my intention. Rather just trying to keep my mind off this insanity...

I’m trying to make light out of a really shitty situation, as were you. Perhaps insensitive but we definitely mean no disrespect to those with worse problems. To tell you the truth, though, I can’t imagine anybody in Oregon is feeling relaxed.

If you were near the Santiam Canyon that is the most depressing shit. I fucking love that area and those towns. Apparently all fucking gone. Obviously hermies mean nothing compared to what they are going through but on the other hand the light cycle change seems fascinating botanically.
