Smoking Build Relationships

Just wondering if anyone else finds that weed is a good theapy for you or helps you build relationships.Heres a little of my background. Bout 6 years ago my older brother passed away he OD'd on herion and opiates, then 4 months later my father passed away from a heart attack.Needless to say it was a hell of a year. So in just one year my family was cut in half instead of having both parents and a brother i now only had a mother.She always knew i smoked weed considering ive always been very open about it. But since everythin happen we found ourselves not really talkin to eachother because honeslty there is no common interest and we had nothing to talk about.Then one day i was rolling up a spliff ma walked in and asked if she could smoke.I agreed and these past 6 years we have been smoking together a few times a week and really talking. And all in all i would just like to say in my experience if i didnt find a common interest(in this case weed) i could of lost the very important relationship with my mother. Anyone else have similar stories.

I took some time off from college and worked in a small arts organization for a year or two. The manager of the company was a nice guy, but fairly aloof. One day he drove me home after lunch, because my car was on the blink, and stayed a few minutes in my apartment for some small-talk. The guy was always business like around me, but he opened up a bit discussing his musical tastes. I start calculating the odd that he gets high: loves jazz and prog rock, in college in the 70s--hmmm.

He was supposed to get back to the office, but when I asked if he wanted to hear some of my favorite tunes he said, "I guess I can misbehave a little this afternoon." At that point, I took a leap of faith. "Do you want to really misbehave?" I asked, and pulled out a spliff. Turns out he used to smoke-- years ago.

We spent the afternoon sitting out on the 2nd floor porch, smoking, listening to music and getting into a great conversation. I learned a lot about him that day, stuff he hadn't talked about with anyone in a long time, like when his wife died soon after child birth. A couple years later he was best man at my wedding.

Yeah my son & his friends where smoking & I took a hit off the bong (which I hadn't done in years) Shit I got so high... All I could do was laugh, I couldnt even talk just laugh & laugh, then past out from laughing so much. Woke up the next day on couch with a pile of chewed up sunflower seeds all over me! We all still laugh about it til this day... I still want to know what was in the bong! LOL

Funny i stumble apon this thread today i was at a job interview today and i had to pick this guy up cause he coudnt get a lift this guy is about 30 years older than me soo conversations were few and far between but we finished the job interview both with new jobs thank god and we was driving home when he said cant wait to get home for a joint and i looked at him with some suprise lol and i said " smoke the weed do you mate " and he said Yeaaa and grow it jus chopped 10 blueberry down yestarday soo when he was showing me all his pics on his phone i couldnt help show him mine 3 weeks in soo as you can emagine it was a nice long drive home talking about our only passion

Well not too mention i use to be real shy, the herb got me outta my shell so to speak lol. But ya i love my family basically all smokes atleast from my ma side 4 uncles 2 aunts needles to say Thanksgiving is the shit after the great meal we all go out to the garage.And lemme tell you about 12 years ago i always use to wonder why everyone went in that garage now im in the garage lol. Gotta love your family, there the only one ya got

I smoke with my sister and dad. It has definitely brought us closer. Smoked two joints together on christmas. Got them both really fucked up. It was great
