so the defanition of weed is unwanted garden plant cannabis is no weed to me
lol so why do we call it weed and pot dope and grass i think its kinda funny
i simply smoke CANNABIS not weed lol but yea weird huh what do you guys think

yesss(with a lisp)! the government attempted to harness a bad stigma associated with unwanted plants called weeds. to bad for them they choose to use a mother nature word and it caught on with people who dont think plants are bad. id bet money thats how it happened

I could be wrong, but I think it's because bud grows like weeds, it is very resiliant compared with many other plants and grows like crazy in the wild, much like weeds do.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but to me, thats where the nick name "weed" comes from.
