Smoking Yopo - Anadenanthera Peregrina

i just read the most interesting trip report consisting of some dudes smoking yopo seeds (Anadenanthera Peregrina)

i guess that Anadenanthera is a genus of trees, some of which produce DMT, bufotenin, and 5-MeO-DMT-containing seeds in pods...

dam. that does sound awesome. i have this book called The Way of the Shaman and its got 2 different trip report type stories with 2 different tribes. after reading those, i wanted to (and still do) try ayhuascha so bad. its a good book that i totally recommend. i wanna try it but i wanna be able to do it with a tribe in its true context. i know that very unlikely but i gotta have dreams u know.

After preperation the seeds basicaly contain bufotenin. I'd definately snort it over smokeing, they are very similar to cebil seeds and the taste is not not nice, and lingers... think peanutbutter, but yucky.

I nabbed a little ditty on how to prepare cebil or yopo. I still don't trust posting it openly, even though it's not an extraction. PM me if you'd like it. Word of caution, I have yet to try it, so don't quote me on its authenticity. I also have a link with some decent information. It can also be found rather quickly via the google.

I'd like to try it in the ways I suspect it was originaly made with old cialcified shells or maybe even the shells of snails, that should reduce the burn of the normal caustic compounds quite a bit.
