Snipping on my beautiful plant?!?!?

some one told me about 'topping' my plants. I guess your supposed to snip the leaves or something wtf..i dont wanna cut my babies...but if its better for the future of the plant i guess id be down w/ it..any info is greatly appreciated thanks.,,,..... .,... , !.., ,. ,, everything is a figment of my imagination

if you snip the top it helps to keep the plant shorter and it is supposed to help it turn bushier, and in some cases from what i hear it is supposeed to produce to top cola buds. I personally haven't done it yet as i am on my first grow. and i am leary about doing it because i am not certain as to when to do it.

Topping will cause your main growth branch (the one you toped) to split into 2, This will give you a greater yield in the end, but is not required.

topping does not give you a greater yeild,only some strains benefit from topping,like blueberry,so topping some strains is a waste of time,coz youll get 2 smaller main colas instead of 1 fat one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace

you wana top atleast 1-2weeks before you flower,,there loadsa pics online showing how to do it,its VERY easy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace

HOW TO MAKE YOUR PLANTS BUSHIER-TOPPING AND PRUNING
Essentially there are the same, "Pruning" and "Topping", just two different commonly words used. It is also known to some as "Pinching" as well. In this page it will be refered to it as "Topping"

Topping is done to keep the plants small and bushy, promote "branching", and increase the overall yeilds of the plants. With higher overall yeilds, a grower will successfully harvest many more budds, or floral clusters, and from smaller, bushier and more compact plants.

personally i have topped plants and left others alone....you dont get more bud in my experiences by topping you just get more bud sites....from now on i do not top plants just let them grow and take clones from the low branches when you flower you get nice compact large buds instead of alot of smaller airy buds....but that just my opinion

I Topped My Plant Under Cfl's As We Talkith....i Have Many Many Top Cola's In Formation And Its From Bagseed("malaysia"4rm Club Kind)....ii Think It Increases Bud Sites,and Ii Dont Even Have Very Strong Bulbs It Was A Xperiment But A Lovely One

I agree with you and the other guy who said it does not increase yeild everytime. I have had the same experience of you and do not bother with it, for the most part, unless it is space issue. I would rather have one big tight bud, then more little ones. Just my opinion, Good LUCK!

k..i grow marijuana to smoke it and i make sure i get good pot seeds i've been growing weed for 3 years and heres some tips when u snip your weed plant its to make it grow more branches and u are supposed to snip the newest top growth and it makes it grow double branches dont put water on ur leaves!!!! it bleaches them dont over water ur plants it will grow mold in the soil only water when the top is crusty and before u even look at ur plants use hand sanitizer everything i just told u is what i do and ive grown over 150 plants
o and keep hot lights at least a foot and a half away from the plants
