I haven't seen many opinions here about grow bibles/books, so I thought I'd post mine and ask for others. There are many out thereso picking the best/right one can be difficult to say the least. To keep this short and sweet, I'll get to it. I'm a new grower but I'm not usually one to make uneducated decisions, especially if they cost $. I did in this case. I believed all the hype and advertising for Ryan Rileys ultimate grow bible and bought it for $57. Believe it or not, so far this has been my most expensive mistake. This is what I wrote to them:

Bought the guide about 6 weeks ago. I didnt get started right away and took for granted that the content was going to be top notch, so I didnt even look at or research other guides/bibles. My mistake. Im not saying the information is bad, just pretty basic and simple. Nothing really very in-depth on any subject, a lot that leaves more questions than answers. Many statements throughout that contradict, some on the same page. All of these years and years of experience are talked about. Exactly how many? By your picture you look to be in your early 20s. Im not saying youre not smart,( youre probably banking some serious $ off of new guys like me) just not old enough to have very many years of experience. I have bought a lot of things to get started, this is one of the very few that I regret. One other thing Ive noticed. nothing but positive comments. That should have been a red flag.
No reply from them yet. If and when they do, I will post.
I have picked up a copy of Jorge Cervantes' grow bible....much much better!
Although most everything you need to know can be found for free, having it on hand saves a ton of time!
Hope this is helpful and I would like to hear from others.
