I have recently been screwed over by my 'partner' I use that term lightly as he bailed with all of our equipment and left me with a lot of babies 2 weeks into flower. He let light in when he was taking the room apart. About an hour. Then left me on the weekend scrambling around my house seeking lights till I can get some. I am now using a t8 fixture I pulled out of my bathroom and a circline light and a cfl. Will this be okay until Monday or Tuesday when I can put hps back up and will the hour of light herm my girls? I need to get some good feedback. Thank you

2-3 days with any kind of light will do, dont panic...

Sometime i keep a couple of plants sitting inside my garage at 80 degre temps just a fan blowing, for 2-3 days and the only light they getting is from the two garage bulbs lol.. So 2-3 days like that they wont go bad or flower.

I have to agree. More often than not, unless you grew up with them and have known them for over 20 years, they will use you or take your kindness for weakness. It's really a shame that our species has gotten to this level of mistrust. I've often wondered what makes these people tick and how they sleep at night. No one, except you guys and my mother (and she's 73) knows about my grow. Don't even tell a friend- there are always those who want what you have-- always-- and it's sad.

Shame on you ! It was all your fault from the beginning. I want to be nosy and know more about this partner. Was he a friend? Relative? Why did he bail on you after robbing you. Not a home invasion seeing on how he is your partner I am guessing. Do you think this was all because he realized his own potential and went to go start the grow he now probably has. Did he take any of the plants at all? Maybe a couple clones to start his fresh, if not maybe he just got a snipping off a mother plant? You didn't mention at all what wattage lights or what kind.
Tell me a story friend !!

Dude that's not even safe. And as far as what drives people? Money man. Money. That immediate gain of everything over their cut. Personal greed can and will get the best of people.
Up until they have get a good dose of payback anyways. Most don't have the testicular fortitude though. Thieves who think they have no consequences for their actions do shit because they have nothing to lose.

It sucks that this happened to you OP. Especially at this crucial point. If you're only 2 weeks in you shouldn't have much of an issue besides more stretch due to lower light intensiy. Just get your girls on a consistent schedule and keep them that way. If you're not in a legal area I'd be more concerned about that. Especially since you now have one hell of a potential chaos factor. But change all locks for sure. Check the locks on all your windows as well. Once upon a time I knew a guy who would use that to rob people blind. Unlock an out of the way window while inside and being all chill. The first chance he got he was crawling back through it a week or so later. All it took was someone going to the bathroom to take a piss. A house party or whatever. So fill us in on the why OP.

The guy was a good friend. I am a resourceful person and had 4. 4 ft t5 lights in there from around my house in a matter of hours. He went in during lights out. The guy just totally flipped on me so i am working it out. It's a legal state and we are licensed it's just trash. I had no problem splitting it. I guess now I get all of it and it's all OG so that works for me and it's vegan so it's value is insane but I don't like the way shit went down I built a fence around my property that day. He won't be coming back due to the 50 cal factor. Thanks to everyone for your input but I guess I knew better before hand. The idea of someone pitching in is great but I would advise against it and it will never happen again.

I have ordered everything I need to replace what was taken it was a financial setback but it was a must. The guy just needed the equipment I'm certain. He wasn't happy with the yield he was going to get with his current system and had been throwing comments out he has a smaller grow going at his moms. He basically left my girls high and dry to give his bitches more light.

It's really not all that bad I guess. Every time he has been here he has been careless and broke one or two main branches, never heard oops so much in my life.

And because he's taking shortcuts instead of asking for help, he'll get a garbage crop and won't make the money he thinks he will.

Yeah, make sure he knows about the fifty cal factor. That kind of deterrent only works if they know about it.

Change locks, up your security, park your car inside or in a hidden spot and watch for him.

I rely on others for help but no one is a partner, as much for liability reasons as for anything else.

Tell me about it I don't make friends he was the one person I even know. So if anything went awry he would be the only one I would consider responsible I literally don't know anyone else in the state.

He is aware of the 50 cal. He is also blocked out by the 8ft fence I completed to close both of my driveways off the day he took everything. I live in a rural spot I can see him coming up the gravel road 10 min before he gets to my house so I'm on the lookout I also have shaker sensors and motion detectors going up this week if he comes back he will find the candy store has become fort knox
