So here is my updated plan..
I have 2 or 3 autoflowers ready to get planted at the same time. I’d like to keep them moderately small.
I am going to plant them in 2 or 3 x 5Litre pots.

I want to grow indoors so bought a 300watt LED to cover them all.
I have bought a PH tester. ph up and ph down.

What else do I need to begin?
Thinking of buying a tent 2’ x 3’ but unsure what to do after that.
Any other equipment I need?

It all depends on how much you want to spend and what your goals are. What environment do you plan in growing. Is it cold/hot/dry/humid?

you can make with just a pot, light and some nutes but your results prolly wont be that great

Is the 300 watt light actually 300 watts from the wall or is that just a marketing number? Look at the amperage draw and multiply by the voltage To get watts. For good quality LEDs you want 30+ watts per sqft. More for blurple lights.

Why is that?
The short answer is that light manufacturers lie. The long answer is because light manufacturers label their products by taking the wattage of the individual chips times the number of chips. So for a “300 watt” lights it might have 30 10 watt chips, or 60, 5 watt chips, or 100 3 watt chips. But you can’t really run the chips at full capacity because the heat generated would burn them out pretty quickly. So they run them at 40-50%. In the description there should be an actual power draw, either in watts or amps. Go by that, but if the light has fans you’ll need to deduct that wattage from the total to get output.
