so i've got small buds that are not quite ready yet. out of time with the other buds

ok i was just looking at my plant and i've been seeing it for a while now. that not all the buds are getting ready at the saime time, what controlles this? is it the amount of light around the plant is unequil? it's an in door grow with 2 cfl's and 1 150 hps so that could be an issue, also my buds look small, is there any way of boosting em up? adding some sort of special growing mix to bulk em up? any recomendations?

It's not your light dude.
I don't know where the idea that low watt HID's wont flower a plant but it's not true. If your gonna go 150watt, I suggest you learn the scrog technique. It'll be your best bet to turn out any type of yield. Here are some pics of 150 watt grows.

well, you dont say how long theyve been flowering or what strain.

typical view of buds, look small, then suddenly, hey they are getting there, then suddenly they start to bulk out and then you wait for them to get ready.

each period seeming like a long time (if you are waiting for them, its kinda like christmas, takes forever to get here, and then it suddenly does)

you should get fine buds with the 150, not huge, but nice. how far away is that light?

but.. if all is green and good and the plant is healthy, you should just let it be and grow some patience.
