Fk legalizing. Just leads to big business taking over.
They should of just kept it decriminalized and gotten rid of the small fine it already attracted.
I wont be surprised if the Federal govt laughs at the ACT govt and crosses this out in red pen.

As i stated in the other ACT Legal thread this has been poorly thought out with no provision for employment or road side drug testing. It should now be treated as alcohol (its also a legal drug) but it has not been addressed.
Harvest a plant, throw some away to keep under the wet limit, dry the product and throw more away to keep it under the 50 gram limit.... Cannot harvest the other plant due to taking u back over the limit..
Bet the fines are higher than they are currently to for being over plant count or weight. (My uncle payed a whopping $7 fine last year or the year before for an Oz. Normally a $100 fine)

Legal at the state level but just like the USA, it's still illegal at the Federal level and the Australian Federal Police are paid to be the law in the Australian Capital Territory. I just wrote a big email to the Minister of Health in that state explaining the problems with that new 50 gram limit. If the police see an outdoor plant there, you can bet there's more than an ounce on an Australian outdoor grown cannabis plant, then they could arrest you for being over the limit with just one plant. Poorly thought out is what I said to the Minister. I also showed her my daily limit on my health canada permit and that should put her into a state of shock!

Hydroponic or grown under lights is still illegal though...

Why? It makes no sense at all, I would love to know the reasoning for this decision.

A variety of cannabis legalisation models exist in the different countries, it may be considered as commercial retail sale and cultivation, to small scale sanctioned cannabis social clubs
