So I plan to do an outdoor op this year and I have everything all set up for that. In the meantime however I'm starting things off inside. My next goal is getting to the cloning stage so I can sex them. I started them off with a 150w cfl for the seedlings. I can already tell tho that they are getting a little stretchy so I got a 400w MH lamp for them. Even at 12 inches away when I first turned it on, I noticed it burned a couple spots on the leaves so I adjusted it promptly. Already I could tell though that they loved it, huge difference in the power of the lights. In the span of a few hours I noticed it had unfurled another fan leaf, I was so happy. So I have about 7 blades on each leaf now and its about 10 inches tall and most of all healthy, I'll start a grow journal when I'm not so lazy one of these days. Basically I could tell that with the cfl they couldn't really prosper and flourish. Now they have more than enough light and are fairly well established, I keep close attention to all their needs. I want to get something outside established so I can focus my attention on that. How long should I allow myself before I can start taking clones.
