I haven't run into even ONE person who started to grow now that it's legal. I know the seed thing...but regardless. There easy to get legal or not.
Yet still, I've not heard of one new grow.
How about you?
Was there no rush to grow your own? Well there had to be some. But my guess is the number was/is low.

Too funny.....just as we thought. The rush by newbies to the plate to use or grow cannabis is low.
Therefore it's the same old gang really.
I think the biggest sector to it would be the young twentie kids.

I sold 1 tent set at the shop lol I sold way more when it was illegal. Once they announced the 4 plant limit I told everyone in the industry no one besides people who are already growing is going to bother growing 4 plant besides the fact that small tent growers is not sustainable for hydro stores in Canada as we just don't have the population here. Also look at garden centers, they're only open for a few months of the year. How many people actually grow the same plants they grew in summer in their garden and grow them indoors, pretty much none.

I use to grow on university. I stopped for 10 years and never started again until legalization. I didn’t want to risk it due to working in the legal industry.

I think you pretty much right on for how it is all over...just my opinion.
We were right....now huge rush to legal weed.
Except the stupid folks who overpay when it's cheaper all around them.

I started growing again due to legalization. I got my seeds from a source. Not ocs. But seeds are available in Ontario. I just been struggling with this grow as I can’t seem to get my seedlings to live. Not sure why my phone typed touché. I should have probably proof read.

What's happening with the seedlings? Are they making it to the first set of true leaves?

Only one ever made it to the first set of true leaves. And they were so small and it never grew and then died. A couple were dying after the colydons popped out. Some died with the seed still attached.

For all those cheap growers that are not sure if they want to pony up for $300-$400 lights..buy 4 light vanities strips..buy led 15w (100w equiv)..take diffuser off..get pc cable power cords..strip them..easy wiring..$15 each vanity..2700k..3000k..5000k leds...6 vanities cover 4x4..u can change lights depending on veg or flower..flexible..

I agree. Every kid who can't buy it legally will have every plant in the neighborhood scanned for extraction later in the early fall. By that point the stink will be like a neon sign over the weed.

Depending where u are..i am in southwest ontario.. U can start inside and flip to flower mid-june and move outside 3rd week july..should finish before the thiefs start looking..hempdepot has a good texada x c99 that finishes late sept..i finished it mid-sept..need dew shield (plastic shelter over plants).. for nights..reduces mold...govt kept moving the legal date that messed with me outdoors... I did their h.depot's c99 inside..outside..then back inside to finish...really good for odor control..smells like grapefruit..no crazy weed smell..i have no odor control with c99...growing her again this spring..50 day flower..

A friend of mine got tired of paying for LP oil so he decided to start a grow.... bought some sort of kit off the internet.
