I've been on a search for a easier way to get a close look at trichomes.
A jewelers loupe is cool but my hands shake to much to get a solid look nor does it take pics.
A USB microscope is cool if I take a bud off to look at close but again my hand shakes to much to get great pics while looking at buds on the plant.
So I've been working with a HD camera app and attempting to get it dialed in with nothing more than my phone and this app.
I'm getting better with it.
This is the app icon in the play store.
I took some pics but found that taking a video and then taking screen shots out of the video is the easiest way to work with this.
I think I can still get closer and clearer. I Will continue to update this thread as I make progress with it.
But for now for those who don't have a loupe or a usb micro scope this is a feasible way to check trichomes.
As we can see above in the last 2 pictures most are cloudy. Very little clear left but no amber.
