SOG help

Howdy, I'm used to growing in DWC but decided to give coco a try and I like it.

Now I have 10 mothers left over and because I am not worried about killing them I can get about 100 clones from them. I want to fill my 4x4 tent with a sea of green.

I of course don't have to use 100 clones. At 1 to 4 plants per square foot I can go 16 to 64 clones.

The question are

Should I use individual pots or fill a flood tray with coco and plant them all in the flood tray, with a drain tray underneath?

How many should I plant?

Lastly, I always prune like the bottom 3rd of a plant before flowering, yet I always get flower sites that pop up in places I dont want them like below the canopy and even at the base of the main shoot. I imagine the goal of a sog is to get rows of single fat buds. How can I accomplish this with technique, pruning, veg time etc...?

Thank you, and as always polite pertinent comments are appreciated.

I knew an older guy who was a SOG expert. 5x5 square pots. He would put them on rolling tables with light movers. The rest I do not know. I would check youtube or other sources.
