Sohum soil question

Hi everyone:)
this question is geared more towards growers using sohum soil. while back I switched over from Fox farm soil to sohum soil. In the first grow I noticed I had less deficiencies as well as way more trichome production, I mean all the leaves were Frosty! While overall I was happy with the quality, potency, and smell I did notice smaller Buds and overall less yield. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I just started my second grow using it, not used anything else to be able to make a comparison. Other than the cost I like it. I re used the soil from my first grow with 2 of my second grow plants, and they developed some deficiencies, mostly magnesium and N, even with using teas and with amendments at the beggining so it obviously was not enough, but starting to get some color back into the leaves now. My first grow was with CD1 Candida which is not a high yield plant, but managed to get more than the 600grms per sq meter as advertised for the seeds, so I figure its does the job it should, when new.

Thank you so much for letting me know. I haven't fully gave up on the soil just yet but I am going to take a little bit of a break and run a Coco blend.

I will definitely post the results in a few weeks.

What size container do you use? SOHUM recommends a 5 gallon for 12 inch plant and 10 gallon for 24 inches. Do you agree with their recommendation?

I was growing in 5 gal pots, up to 3ft tall, 2 months veg 9-10 weeks flower.

I now use a no till soil recipe by Clackamas Coot. Much better and a lot cheaper as it never needs replacing.

Thanks for the response; there is so little information on SOHUM.
Did you have any deficiencies during your SOHUM grow where you had to add nutrients or just adding water was enough? Did you water from top or bottom? Did you use tap water?
