What should I get for nutrients and soil for an eastern outdoor grow I want a big yield haven't looked into the outdoor grow as much but just want some opinions on best soil and nutes thinking about fox farm
Ive used Foxfarm ocean forest ,Indoneasian bat guano, potash, blood meal where necessary, typicaly i dont use anything more.Foxfarm Ocean forest is really good,u wont even need anything for the first month. If you want bigger plants you will want to use 5 gal containers and above.
I was thinking about ocean forest and ya I'm going to to get some 5 gal pots, fox farm has a bunch of nutes to choose from its prob just personal preference
Are you going to be growing in pots or in the ground? A lot of people use the fox farms bag soil but it's way too expensive for me given the volumes of soil I'm using. After the first month or so it seems like everyone needs to liquid feed anyway, so I don't understand spending all that money on soil. Peat based mixes like pro-mix and sunshine mix are top notch and you can add whatever you want to them at a fraction of the price.
