Here is my set-up for an in room soil bin.
Needed
*3x1.5x1.5 (wicker chest from thrift store) ($10)
*6mil Husky Black Plastic Sheeting($15)
*A good Staple gun($10)
*scissors($5)
*Handy Man Skillaz (Priceless!)
Choadz!

Soil bin was built for a few reasons

*make soil replacement easier (bags are messy)
*easy work area to mix in additives
*compost will add c02 to your room (How much?)see http://www.scribd.com/doc/2601748/Ed-Rosenthal-Marijuana-Growers-Handbook

I put only organic matter in bin...
*Fox Farm soil
*Perlite
*Wormz
*Whatever u like to add so long as it's sterile.

I run a very clean room...I have had this in here for 3 years now and have not had any bugz or virizzi issues(ssss)...but thats just me...I was a little skeptical at first, thinking that it would attract problems..but it hasn't for me...so take this as a disclaimer foo!....don't go gettin pissed off at me if ya get a bug.

Does require a little maintenence...I give it a mist bath every other day or so and turn it a little...sometimes I mist it with a >1/2 per tsp solution of Fox Farm Grow Big, depending on what my up and coming plans are for it's use.
