soil drench

did a soil drench on a few of my plants in 5 gallon buckets about a week ago and the soil is still wet wondering how long it usually takes till your next watering im just using regular potting soil with about 5% perlite

You dont want to drown your plants, so make sure you have a few drainage holes, but I'm sure you've done that.
I'm in the process of flushing my plant, so i saturate the soil fully and let the excess drain out the bottom. Yes it takes a good week for me to water (saturate) again, but I do a small test of sticking my finger 3 inches down into the soil, and if my finger comes out clean, Ill water, if there is 'mud' stuck to my finger, I'll wait longer. But yes typically a week depending on how big the plant is, and the root system, and even how thirsty it is.
Also, I'm using 3 gallon pots.
Hope this gives you a better idea.
 
yeah I recently switched soils but a couple of my plants have some old crappy soil. my leaves are not sagging and it looks like rust spots just dots all over the leaves only on one plant and ive been using bonide liquid copper garden fungicide and its not really helping. thanks dimebag87 you too
