if you are new to the game, dont put too much thought into it. DO NOT get the MG Miricle grow and you should be good.

I would reccomend Fox Farm Ocean Forest but I have never seen it at a HD or Lowes. In NorCal they have it at some of the Co op grocery stores. If you can get that but other than that I mean you can use really anything.

You don't have a nursery around you? If not, just get the normal Maricle Grow. Like I said, especally if you are new, dont go out and spend your rent money on the most expensive things.

Get some good sized pots, maybe a small (like keg cup), a medium (like 1 gallon) and a large (like 3-5 gallons if you are indoor), and you will be good to go. You can probably even water with tap water. Not reccomended buy come on, the adverage gardener, with the adverage garden, do they check the ppms of the water or use ro? nope. If you are going hydro then yeah, get a RO machine a tds test kit and ph test kit but maybe after your first harvest.

Sta green or scotts and then add 10% worm castings (walmart) 20% perlite, and keep a lil blood meal and bone meal around to adjust your PH. Mix all together give it a hell of a soak, let sit for 24 to 48 hrs and do a ph reading on it.
Always works for me.. Good luck

would look at a garden store but if not then would try home depot get some peatmoss, perlite, worm castings, dolomite lime...an ez mix all organic and you dont need to worry about ph...i get annoyed when ppl have trouble with ph in soil....hellloooo ppl lime is a 7 ph can never go up and supplies calcium and magnesium....nuff said

Any premium (not cheapass) potting soil mixed with promix and/or perlite is fine... avoid moisture control and pre nuted.. you want to control that.. you can always add... removing is a bitch... Luck.

I just did my whole shopping spree at Lowes for everything I needed to grow

Soil, I got small bag of their generic brand, Kellogg, it's all organic with bat guano and worm casting and some stuff... has lots of tree bark

Perlite of course

What's important is the plant food

Got time release 19-6-12 for veg

and 15-30-15 for flowering
