Soil growing, over feeding nutrients and over watering.

I know that hydro is better than soil because the plant roots in hydro dont have to find the nutrients.

If I over water and over feed my plant with too much nutrients its considered a bad thing, but could I counter this by doing a lot of flushing or change the soil in my pot often?

Changing the soil and anything you could do to counter intentionally overwatering and feeding will just cause problems for you. Wether it be stress, root rot, nute burn etc While you are right about hydro being better in the aspect you mentioned, soil has benefits too so personally I would play to the strengths of your grow medium.

Hydro isn't better than soil, it's just different. However, you never want to overfeed your plants in any system. Yes, flushing will help but the trick is to start off with light nutes and let the plants tell you when they're getting hungry. If you're using good soil, you probably won't need to add any nutes for a while. In hydro, start with half the recommended nute dose and adjust from there. A TDS or PPM meter is extremely helpful.
