Soil help

I use Pro Mix HP . My question is i currently have a 15 gallon pot full of pro mix HP from my recent harvest, i got the majority of the roots out of it but there are some small roots floating around but its mostly soil and its pretty fresh. How could i re-use this soil for a small sprout going into veg, since the soil was used for flowering with strong nutes and has only had a light flush should i do a hard flush with nutrient rinse and let it dry out or should i just abandon the idea and spend the extra 60 bucks for another 3.8 cf bag

well i have 3.8 cu ft of soil on the way right now but until it gets here they have to stay in solo cups. I really hate to waste 15 gallons worth of soil if its reusable and its pretty high-grade soil thats the only reason i asked. better to be safe than sorry though i guess, rather not get nute lockup on one of my babies.

I just tried exactly what you're suggesting with devastating results. Don't toy with used soil, you'll end up with nutes lock for sure. If you wanna try to spend a few months revitalizing it with compost, go for it, but I wouldn't try to reuse it as is, I promise you'll regret it.

Salts can be leached out with lots of water. Can u put the soil outside and do it? Then let dry out a bit before you reuse it.

i was told to dump it in a trash bag. use my hands to mix it up, and dump dripped coffee beans in with it, then mix it then tie the trash bag so that no air can get in or out leave it for a couple weeks then re-use it. i think ill give that a try. but there were roots all the way to the edge of this 15 gallon pot because i just harvested a half pound off a small clone from the 15 gal. pot.

anyways my soil showed up today so i didnt have to re-use anyways.

Heres how it currently looks with fresh soil

In perfect timing to , they wouldnt have lasted another day in the solo cups, that rapid root starter had the roots almost breaking the cups.

If u do this anaerobic bacteria will grow like crazy and the whole thing will smell like shit. Good thing the soil arrived when it did.
