Soil moisture level

Hi guys, fairly new and finishing my second grow. I bought a meter to read the moisture levels of my soil, however, I’m not too sure what my soil moisture levels should be when I go to water. Can anyone give me some numbers to go off of?

the meters are shit (made in china ring a bell) by far its better to lift the pot THINK to water or not
