hello everyone i was wondering if you guys had any in put as to which method produces clones faster and is all around better. What im asking is what are the pros and cons of both methods ad if you had a mother room would u DWC them, Soil + organics, NFT or any other method that is highly effective. All input and experience is appreciated.

Soil would be less work for sure. Not DWC for mothers unless you wanna be messing with it alot. Ebb/flow or drip system or aeroponics you would get twice as many clones in the same time frame as soil. I keep my moms in soil so I dont have to worry about them they are just their but I have two where I could set up a aeroponic mom and only need one but you need to check the res and keep ph and temps right and in soil its for sure and when it gets root bound just cut the bottom half of the root ball and replace soil.

Less work more mothers. More work less mothers. (Not really work just tedious shit) remember if power goes out you DONT want to loose your mothers they are your bread and butter. You loose those your out until you can grow a prune more to produce alot of clones could take a couple months.

i leave my mother in the veg box in my soil mix and make clones for the ebb/flow setup. its simply easier to deal with a mother if she's in a pot since she can be moved and you don't need a separate res or anything for her. There is a lot to worry about when using hydro/chems and you don't want that stress just to keep a mother stable.

It is actually less work with hydro,I keep a clean res and change every 2 weeks,I never have to hand water,I have my system dialed in,check the ph and ec 1 a week thats all, there is no need to move since the tent my mothers are in are their permanent home.If the power goes out it's bad for aero but not for drip, the rockwool holds enough water...they could go 24 hours without water without any problems.....when does a power outage ever lasts that long???It can happen but it is very unlikely....I tend to forget watering schedules with soil myself.
